in english, the phrase “under the aegis of…” means “under the protection or sponsorship of…”, so i suggested that “aegis” could be the key concept for this series. for the typography, i used visual coding to deconstruct and reconstruct the word aegis and its chinese counterpart [神盾], echoing the collection’s visual language of reconstruction and deconstruction. i think combining typography, fashion, and visual coding into one multidisciplinary form of creation is really cool and fascinating! it’s definitely the kind of direction i want to focus on in my future work.

這段話讓我聯想到盔甲與神盾，因為在英文裡，“under the aegis of…” 這個片語其實有「受到保護」或「在庇護之下」的意思。因此我提議神盾這一詞可以當成這次系列的關鍵字。在字體運用上我特別使用視覺編碼來去解構與重組神盾與【aegis】字樣，來去呼應服裝覺上重組與解構主義的意向。我認為融合字體、服裝以及視覺編碼設計這種多領域的創作方式真的很酷很有趣，這也絕對會是我日後想要專注的創作方向。
