吳依霖
a freelance graphic designer with a multidisciplinary approach, who loves integrating visual coding into graphic design. i’m naturally drawn to bold, creative, and experimental work that motivates me to explore unconventional design approaches that feel just as exciting. currently based in barcelona and open to global collaborations.

AEGIS【神盾】
the first thing that struck me about this collection was the material of the clothing and the posture of the model. to me, she almost looked like a beast and a hunter, ready for battle, radiating a powerful aura. paper once mentioned that “this series is worn as a manifesto that reimagines this armor in both a literal and metaphorical sense,” which immediately made me think of armor and shields.
這次系列服裝給我的第一印象是衣服材質與模特兒的姿態,在我眼裡她彷彿是頭野獸,是狩獵者,準備戰鬥且充滿【aura】。【paper】曾經提過,這件服裝就像是一種宣言,從字面與象徵的層面重新想像盔甲的意義。
in english, the phrase “under the aegis of…” means “under the protection or sponsorship of…”, so i suggested that “aegis” could be the key concept for this series. for the typography, i used visual coding to deconstruct and reconstruct the word aegis and its chinese counterpart [神盾], echoing the collection’s visual language of reconstruction and deconstruction. i think combining typography, fashion, and visual coding into one multidisciplinary form of creation is really cool and fascinating! it’s definitely the kind of direction i want to focus on in my future work.
這段話讓我聯想到盔甲與神盾,因為在英文裡,“under the aegis of…” 這個片語其實有「受到保護」或「在庇護之下」的意思。因此我提議神盾這一詞可以當成這次系列的關鍵字。在字體運用上我特別使用視覺編碼來去解構與重組神盾與【aegis】字樣,來去呼應服裝覺上重組與解構主義的意向。我認為融合字體、服裝以及視覺編碼設計這種多領域的創作方式真的很酷很有趣,這也絕對會是我日後想要專注的創作方向。
